Group trips for 3 to 8

143 messages. Still no plan.

Groupie turns the group chat into one shared plan. Everyone suggests, everyone votes, and you all land on the same page.

How it works

From a 400-message group chat to one plan.

Three steps, and the organizer stops being the only one doing the work.

  1. 01

Start a trip, share one link

Friends join with just their name. No app to install, no password to forget.

  2. 02

    Everyone suggests and reacts

Four honest reactions instead of a thumbs-up, so “too pricey for me” never needs a scene.

  3. 03

    Land on one plan

When most of the group is in, it joins the plan. Every change is tracked, so nobody misses one.

Built for groups of 3 to 8.

The itinerary

Every detail, on one timeline.

The whole trip in one scroll: where you’re staying, how you get there, what each day holds, and who’s in.

  • Place detailsPhotos, ratings, opening hours, and the address on every stop, so nobody has to look it up again.
  • Trip summaryEach destination shows its nights, where you’re staying, how you get there, and what it costs each person.
  • Who’s doing whatWho suggested it, who’s in, who’s going, and who still needs to vote. No more “wait, are you coming?”
  • Time and travelHow long each plan takes, the free time in between, and the walk or drive from one stop to the next.

What you get

Everything the group chat can’t do.

Plan it together, find the stay and the flights, and let an assistant do the digging.

Plan together

One trip everyone can shape.

Start a trip in a minute and send one link. The whole group builds the plan, and nobody has to chase anyone.

  • Friends join from the link with just their name.
  • Anyone can suggest, swap, or drop a plan.
  • It joins the plan once most of the group is in.
  • Every change is tracked, so nobody gets caught out.

Stays

Airbnb, Booking.com, and Google Hotels in one search.

Search every site at once for your dates and your group. When the same place is listed three times, you see one card with every price.

  • Priced for the whole stay and per person.
  • Each option shows how much of the budget it uses.
  • Three picks by plain rules: lowest price, best value, top rated.
  • Propose any stay to the group in one tap.

You book on the site you choose. Groupie never takes payment.

Flights and getting around

Flights for the group, and every leg in between.

Flights for your dates and party size, plus trains, buses, and driving for the days you’re there.

  • Flight prices from Google Flights, per person.
  • Train, bus, and driving times between your stops.
  • Ground fares are marked as estimates, so nobody budgets on a guess.
  • Put any option to a vote without leaving the trip.

Your planning assistant

Ask Groupie. It knows your trip.

Your dates, your group, your budget, and what’s already agreed. Ask for a stay, a dinner, or a whole day, and get options that fit.

  • Searches stays, flights, and places for you.
  • Prices come straight from the search, never made up.
  • It only suggests. Nothing changes until the group agrees.
  • One thread per trip that everyone can read.
  • A budget everyone can see

Each person’s forecast against the budget, updated as plans change.

  • Who owes who, sorted

Log what you paid, and it’s split between the people who went.

  • Price watchingSoon

After the group agrees, Groupie keeps checking flights and stays and says when a price moves.

Why groups trust it

Your trip, your money, your call.

Groupie helps the group decide. It never decides for you, and it never touches the money.

  • We never book or take payment

You book with the seller you pick. Groupie links you straight to them.

  • Real prices, with a source

Every price says where it came from and when it was seen. Airbnb prices are labeled before taxes.

  • The AI suggests, people decide

Ask Groupie can only propose. The price the group agreed to is only ever set by a person.

  • Private by default

Only members can see a trip. To anyone else, it doesn’t exist.

  • Nothing to sign up for

Friends join with a name. No account, no password, no app.

  • Say no without a scene

Who said “can’t do” and why is seen only by the organizer and whoever suggested it.

Questions

Good to know before you go.

  • Does Groupie book anything for us?

No. Groupie finds options and helps the group agree. When you’re ready, you book on the seller’s own site, so your booking and your payment stay between you and them.

  • Do my friends need an account or an app?

No. They open the invite link, type their name, and they’re in. Anyone who wants to keep their trips across devices can add an email later.

  • Where do the prices come from?

Stays come from Airbnb, Booking.com, and Google Hotels, and flights from Google Flights, at the moment you search. Each price shows its source and when it was seen. Train and bus fares are typical prices, marked as estimates.

  • What does the assistant do with our trip?

Ask Groupie reads your trip so its suggestions fit your dates, group, and budget. It can search and suggest, but it can’t change the plan. Everything it finds goes to the group as a proposal.

  • How does the group decide?

Everyone reacts with In, Fine, Prefer not, or Can’t do. A suggestion joins the plan when more than half the group is In or Fine and nobody has a Can’t do outstanding.

  • How many people can join a trip?

Up to 8. Groupie is built for groups of friends and roommates, from 3 to 8 people.

Your group chat has had enough.

Start the trip, send one link, and let everyone have their say.
